MMH - Museum of Media History
Preserve, discover, collect, study and remember what
we can know today.
The Museum of Media History (MMH) curates an ever-growing collection,
of art and media artefacts. Our goal ist to establish a accessable and federated wiki-based living web archive - a searchable catalog of art, events, technologies, people and memes. MMH aims to be a valuable archive of ideas and events that have shaped today’s world and society.
The Museum of Media History is a Non-profit organisation and is dedicated to set up a digital, legal and financial environment. Among the challenge we face are: cryptology, singularity, longterm-data-preservation, longterm-hosting, intelectual property management, mensch/maschine interface.
Our goal is to preserve, collect and display the history of digital media and develop and provide an alternative platform for information and culture as well for the benefit of collaborative education and alternative media consumption. We need museums to in order to shape the future with confidence and not base our actions false beliefs. Museums allow us to see reality that as happened in context of other realities that unfolded. MMH's goal is to enable an immersive, retrospect view of past events and the able to spot the patterns of foreseeable falacies.
Members and supporters of MMH will be able to submit any content to the database for future preservation as well as propose original ideas and content to display online exhibits.
